Grants
IMPORTANT
TO AVOID INELIGIBLE APPLICATIONS, PLEASE READ ALL THESE NOTES BEFORE APPLYING FOR GRANT AND DOWNLOADING A GRANT FORM (ie. please carefully determine which grant you may be eligible for).
ONLY ONE TYPE OF GRANT CAN BE APPLIED FOR
Churches of all denominations qualify for grants from the Trust for repairs and improvements subject to eligibility (see below). In order to be eligible, applicants must demonstrate a focus of mission and care for their building; any schemes should be prepared by either your qualified architect/surveyor. In addition the Trust requires the following:
- The building must be in use as a public place of worship and be accessible to the public.
- The building is not anticipated to cease operating as a place of worship in the foreseeable future.
- The applicants must show a genuine shortfall in funding
- The applicants must be actively fundraising and be able to confirm they anticipate being able to raise any financial shortfall.
LANDFILL GRANTS
If your church or chapel lies within a 10 mile radius of the following Landfill Sites you may be eligible for grant (subject to the above conditions):

Applications must be submitted for consideration by not later than 14 Feb/16 May/22 Aug/14Nov.
In Landfill areas only, improvements for ramps and toilets may be grant-aided.
MAIN GRANTS
These are for repairs only. Applications are considered annually for which application forms must be submitted by not later than the end of February.
