We have re scheduled our talk by Helen Whittaker, Creative Designer at Barley Studios, York. Helen is an acclaimed artist and sculptor. She has fulfilled over a hundred stained-glass commissions for both secular and ecclesiastical buildings. In her talk she will describe how working in creative partnership with David Hockney and Hughie O’Donaghue, she has helped translate their art into stained glass in Westminster Abbey. She will also discuss her sources of inspiration for her own designs for stained glass windows.
