A New Church Maintenance Service for Yorkshire
The National Churches Trust has received £90,100 from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for the Yorkshire Maintenance Project (YMP) which will help keep churches and chapels in Yorkshire in good condition and prevent the need for expensive repairs. For more information on the YMP visit
http://www.nationalchurchestrust.org/building-advice/yorkshire-maintenance-project As part of the YMP the National Churches Trust will set up a new online service called Maintenancebooker.
The service will make it easy for churches to keep gutters and drains clear by providing a quick and easy way of registering for professional gutter clearance services. The online service will launch in January 2017 at www.maintenancebooker.org.uk.

Cost a problem?
If the cost of the service is a problem, the National Churches Trust, with its partner the Pilgrim Trust, can offer Maintenance Micro-Grants to cover 50% of the cost of the first gutter clearance service. Churches with small congregations or limited financial means are eligible to apply for these grants, but as there are only up to 200 grants available each year please contact us early to request an application form. Grant application forms are being accepted now!
