Future Proofing Buildings for the Generations to Come.

It is always fantastic to hear first hand the difference that the funding from the YHCT is making, and it is thanks to our wonderful Friends and Donors that we are able to support churches such as the Good Shepherd, who play such a vital role on their local commnity:

On behalf of our entire church family, I want to extend our sincere thanks for your generous contribution of £6,000 to our recent building project. Your support has been a true blessing – not only to us today, but to generations yet to come.

Thanks to your kindness, we’ve been able to  future-proof our building, making it safer, more accessible, and more welcoming for all ages and  all members of our community. This includes being able to fix a leaking roof, replace a damaged floor, install secure and accessible doors, remould a troublesome spire into a wonderful new cross on the front, and install new screens to help everyone engage.

The improvements are already bearing fruit: from school groups gathering each week, to older friends enjoying ease of access, disabled users finding the space more accessible, and new visitors discovering an environment that’s open and hospitable.

Thank you again for partnering with us in this work. Your gift has made a lasting difference, and we are truly grateful.”
