Grants Committee welcome new members

On Friday 27 March the Grants Committee welcomed three new members following a recent advertisement. We are delighted that Tom Crooks, Mark Ockelton and Revd Mike Green have been appointed in a voluntary capacity as they each bring specialised skills to the Trust.

Tom is an experienced conservation accredited architect who works with historic buildings including many churches, serves on the Sheffield DAC and is a committee member of EASA.

Mark is a professional judge with particular interests in bells, silver and monuments. He is also the Chancellor of two Dioceses in the Church of England and brings expertise in ecclesiastical law and the faculty jurisdiction.

Revd Mike Green is the Vicar of St Andrew’s Kildwick, a Major Parish Church (Grade I) in the Diocese of Leeds. The church has just completed a very large project including nave and chancel roof repairs, which have been desperately needed for over 15 years. He has a background in engineering and a keen interest in church buildings.

We look forward to working with them all as they will bring new insights.
