Saturday 24th February 2018

A February Saturday in Hunter’s Bar.

Join the South Yorkshire Area Group for a chance to explore what lies behind J.M.M. Jenkinson’s distinctive Trinity United Reformed Church, Hunter’s Bar (1970-1). Trinity incorporates five Congregational Churches, the oldest formed in 1798. Together they express a rapidly changing city. Three speakers will reflect on this. Chris Ellis, who has been minister at Cemetery Road Baptist Church, President of the Baptist Union, and Principal of Bristol Baptist College, will talk on Meeting-House Worship in the Age of Watts. Clyde Binfield will talk about the Building of Trinity 1970-1, and Andrew Shepherd, a Sheffield architect,  will talk about the Perils and Pitfalls of Chapel (and Church) Conservation.

The event runs from 10.00am – 4pm and tickets are £20.00, to include coffee, lunch and tea.

Further details and booking from available here.
