Over £50k awarded to help Yorkshire’s places of worship in the latest round of grants

Eleven places of worship across Yorkshire are celebrating this summer after receiving a share of more than £50,000 from the YHCT to support essential repairs, maintenance and restoration work — ensuring these much-loved buildings can remain open and thriving for generations to come.

From Bridlington to the Bradford District, churches and chapels from the Catholic, Anglican, Methodist and Baptist traditions have all benefited from the latest round of YHCT grants.

Far Headingley, St Chad, Spire repointing £5000

Newton under Roseberry, St Oswald, Chancel Arch wall repairs  £1426
