Jeremy Mackrell Recognised in Queen’s 2013 Honours List

One of our most stalwart supporters (and a recently retired trustee) has been awarded the MBE for services to charity and the communities of Oxenhope and Keighley.

The Trustees and Officers of the Trust would like to say a special congratulations to Jeremy for his well deserved award.

Many of you, particularly in West Yorkshire, will know Jeremy for his tireless efforts in promoting our Trust, including organising a good number of the NW Area tours and visits – not least since he generally ensures there is a good pub lunch along the way!

Others may have met him in his time as a partner for a well known Yorkshire solicitors or for his work at Bradford Cathedral.

A long time friend of the YHCT, we all wish Jeremy and his lovely wife Norma, a continuing happy retirement. Enjoy your day at the palace!

WELL DONE JEREMY!
